Yummee Chinese Restaurant

Most clutch cheap/affordable chinese in the south end. Sometimes they do reuse rice and it's notable by the bitter taste. Good about compensation though. They don't clean the poop out of their shrimp if that concerns you.

I've been going there for more than 10 years I live across town in Hyde Park and I drive all the way for the same thing every time. ... Fried rice, crab Rangoon (best I've ever had), beef teriyaki, chicken wings. I don't stray..... and who put me on to the place is a real foodie ...an old co-worker

Really bad food

This place is the last of a dying breed, and I love it. The food is that delicious mouth watering stuff I remember from childhood, and the staff are always friendly. Prices are good, facility kind of dirty but who cares, if I'm coming here, I'm looking for cheap eats and heaping Portions

I've been going here since I was young. We even moved to Florida and every time we came back to Boston we ALWAYS made a trip to Yum Mee's first thing! It was such a relief. It's great food at a great price

One of my favorite convenient Chinese food places

We originally said one day we would eat here as a joke. Well the day came and we ate there. The food is super awesome. The place itself looks like it would give you an infection, but the food is so damb good that it still gets a 5star

I love Chinese food, but sadly Yum Mee doesn’t do it for me. The fingers were batter-heavy, the lo mein wasn’t flavorful, and the orange chicken I got lacked the citrus flavor and seemed a lot like TGI Fridays frozen BBQ chicken bites or something.The rangoons and beef Teriyaki were good, but the rangoons suffered from what looked to be a home-made Duc sauce that had a grainy taste and feel like old honey that made me feel a little sick afterwards

Absolutely no tast to rice. Their rice had no sprouts or onions. Chicken fingers dry and beef terekey to dry. First and last time.

Excellent value, good food, friendly service. Probably the best value in the South End.

Horrible food in Boston. Got 3pic of chicken and it test so bad also the chicken are so old. I will highly recommend not to eat there food.

Ordered a few dishes to be delivered. Food was more than 40 minutes later than the estimated time to be delivered. (Which was 55 minutes after we ordered it to begin with). So we waited over an hour and 40 minutes for our food.

Spicy mustard as a condiment there. Good food. A little pricier than some Chinese fast food hence the delicious well cooked food

All good can't please everybody.

Only thing I liked was the ginger ale. The food was too salty and the driver was too rude. I will not go there again

When I originally found this place, I laughed at the name. Anyone that names their restaurant "great", "yummy" or any thing like that, they better live up to their name which usually doesn't happen. Until Yum Mee. This place looks like a hole in the wall which usually means good food. They definitely lived up to that expectation. Delicious food, tender flavorful meats, moist rice, and large portions that you can add on to. Highly recommend

When I first started going there (2015) the food was good! My last visit I ordered shrimp fried rice. I was given days old tiny hard shrimp fried rice. Never will I eat there again.

Yum Mee has been a local favorite forever. The food is delicious and service is quick! The Crab Rangoon is so good.

Everything but the duck sauce is good. It has sand in it or something like it evertime ive order. Its just so close near so i buy there but i think im going stop. Delivery driver sucks too so i always picked up my order. Good luck to them and avoid the duck/sweet n sour sauce unless you dont care about having sand in your mouth. Im not joking.

this food i have been eating since 4 yrs. i am 12 years old. this place has very good food and is clean. the only problem is that the food should be more organized and honestly put less in it.

Hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It tasted old. The hot and sour soup went down the disposal it was disgusting. They didn't even give me white rice. I had to go outside and pick up the food from the driver. He wouldn't even bring it in. It was so bad. $30 in the toilet...

All of the online menu prices for Yum Mee are incorrect, make sure to confirm price if ordering pickup or delivery. Otherwise the food is fine.

Worst food and experience ever.Food is greasy and bland. Soup is tasteless and service is terrible!! Don't even think of trying their food.

Wow got home and for whatever reason the beef teriyaki and chicken fingers were not on the plates that I ordered😞 well... On the hunt for great food and O.k. service at least

Better than average spring roll and chicken lomein had nice pieces of chicken fresh veggies and great wok flavor.
